A Palestinian writer, novelist, and poet, born in the city of Jenin in Palestine in 1970, received his education there, then immigrated to Australia in 1996 and settled there. He began his journey with writing at an early age, writing in local newspapers published in Palestine . He won the Palestinian Al-Nahar newspaper award for short stories in 1984, when he was fourteen years old, and it was titled “Between Yesterday and Tomorrow.” His writings vary between poetry , stories , and novels .

He represented Palestine at the Arab Poets Forum in Tunisia in its second session in 2014. His presence was brilliant and he left an imprint in the halls of the forum, as he made dozens of attendees cry when he read his poems in the cities and governorates of Tunisia. Among his most famous books are: Imru’ al-Qais in Sydney (poetry) 1999 - Herald House - Sydney Poems from Another World (poetry) 2001 Poems to the One I Love (poetry) - 2003 The Little Village at the Foot of the Mountain (novel) - 2013 - Arab House of Sciences - Publishers
