The “Iqra 2019” international photography competition, organized annually by the Omani Photography Society, awarded an honorary award to Palestinian photographer Firad Jarrar.
The competition comes in line with the Muscat International Book Fair, and stimulates the importance of reading. The competition also demonstrates the various skills of talents that present the optical image with aesthetic meaning, and broadcast a sophisticated and important message to the recipient and the lover of the artistic aesthetics of the lens.
The exhibition continues to display participating works throughout the days of the book fair, and visitors are allowed to wander between its corners and get to know its aesthetics up close.
