Ibtisam Abu Mayaleh is a Palestinian writer from Hebron. She was born in 1960 in the city of Al-Bireh, adjacent to the city of Ramallah . She continued her studies after she reached the forty-fourth year. A mother of four daughters and two sons, she obtained a business administration diploma from Al-Mustaqbal Technical College
Her first novel, “Forbidden Love,” was published in 2008 by “Bayt Al-Maqdis for Distribution and Publishing” after the death of her husband and father in two consecutive years, so she did not celebrate her first literary birth as she should. In her writings, she tends towards historical documentation through a romantic novel that stimulates the reader and enriches his information

Its activities
I cooperated with the Zizofouna Association in giving courses on creative writing in various schools in the country’s governorates. She is currently cooperating with some freed female prisoners to write about their experiences in captivity through a special creative writing course. Member of the management of the Ecevit Charity Association for sponsoring orphans and helping needy families.
A woman who defied age and all circumstances to create her own path, making herself an example for many Palestinian women.
