Palestinian Rami Ghassan Arafat (38 years old) lives in the city of Nablus. He obtained a bachelor's degree in musical sciences from An-Najah National University in Nablus in 2003, and was first in the Faculty of Fine Arts. He then worked as a teaching assistant in the same department for two years. In 2005, he traveled to Cairo and joined the Department of Music Theory and Composition at the Faculty of Music Education at Helwan University, where he obtained a Master’s degree in 2010. In an interview with Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, he traces his passion for music back to childhood. He says, “My musical talent was evident from a young age. I grew up in a home that loved art and music, especially classical Egyptian art. The clearest signs of playing began to appear in me in middle school.” ), especially after I joined the school’s scout troupe, as it was the first school scout troupe in the city at the time. And with my presence in the atmosphere of scouting parades, and because I was the leader of the scout musical troupe, the musical tendency began to become established in me, especially after the encouragement of the school principal, who bought a musical instrument. Rami was known in the corridors of the City's Education Directorate as the "National Peace Student" because he participated in most of the Education Directorate's official celebrations, and always played the "National Peace" anthem, and some other patriotic songs.
After his bachelor’s degree, the field of music distribution was his greatest interest. Rami adds: “I used to listen to everything that was produced musically and came to us on the radio or via cassette tapes. I began trying to distribute music for a group of local amateur singers. Some of the local songs that I distributed achieved significant local success.” with it".
