Adela Al-Aidi - Haniyeh has been director of the Palestinian Museum in Birzeit since 2018. A writer and academic specializing in Palestinian culture, modern Arab thought, and cultural spaces and practices. Published by Dr. Adila Al-Aidi-Haniyeh Biography of the artist Fakhr al-Nisa Zaid: Artist of Inner Worlds in 2017, and the first cultural review of contemporary Palestine in 2008: Rien nous manque ici. She managed the Khalil Sakakini Center in Ramallah (1996 - 2005), where she held the memorial exhibition (100 Martyrs - 100 Lives) in 2001 - 2003, which was displayed at Darat al Funun. She taught modern and contemporary Arab thought and the first course in the history of Palestinian plastic art at Birzeit University (2006 - 2008).
Adila wrote the main article for Amly Jacir’s book “A Star Far Away from My Eyes, and as Close to Me” (2015), which was published by Darat al Funun - Khaled Shoman Foundation.
