Information

A prominent Palestinian artist, curator, writer, painter, and visual artist. In 2013, he won the Leonore Annen Berg Prize for Art and Social Change in New York City. He organized his first retrospective exhibition in 2014 at the Contemporary Arts Center in Glasgow and Gallery One in Ramallah. Recently, he organized another retrospective exhibition at Darat al Funun in Amman, Jordan, in 2017. Hourani also launched the Picasso Project in Palestine in 2011, and the Jerusalem A Stone’s Throw Project in 2017. Hourani is also known as a well-known art critic and curator, having supervised many exhibitions in Palestine and abroad. . He lives and works in Ramallah.
