Like a bird, she flew between her talents to reach her goal. She searched a lot for herself in art, writing, public speaking, and acting, in addition to photography, to reach her final station in which she settled, which was filmmaking.

With creativity, experience, overcoming difficulties and overcoming fears, she fought with her passion and will and made them present in every moment. She refined her talent with care and attention so as not to deviate from the path she had set for herself.

Aya Al-Mutrabii, a graduate of the Islamic University, majoring in business administration in English, began her speech by saying: “I followed my passion, and made it present at all my times. If the Lord of the universe gave me what I needed to be a source of inspiration for others, then why should I be in the field of only one passion, and neglect everything else?” “.

In a small corner of her room, she established her own studio, to record a story that she carefully chose to develop her capabilities more than ever before, in the field of voiceover and voice acting, this field that she had previously entered in her films, but now it is time to put her own mark in it. .

The graduate, Al-Mutrabii, added, “To practice what I learned in the field of entrepreneurship, I created a channel for myself on YouTube, as managing content on YouTube is not easy at all.” She explained, “I published on the YouTube channel the first film, ‘Students of the Revolution,’ and I made many films and video clips after it, until... “I got to where I am now.”

In besieged Gaza, despite the scarcity of resources and their high prices, creativity is not limited. Graduate Al-Mutrabi’i defied all the difficulties she faced and produced the film “Patient Olive” with equipment and capabilities that are not up to the level of directing work.

Her works continued, but she wove the story, a story she may not have begun, in the movie “Dara.” It summed up an entire career that she began in the world of filmmaking, between passion and challenges, after a long journey with different talents in the fields of audiovisual arts.

Aya continues her speech: “Between writing, photography, and sound, it reached Dara, who was born in besieged Gaza and the small circle, and began flying in its skies with a Palestinian keffiyeh, perhaps not in the same circular way, but he reached the international level, achieving great success, winning the audience award at the Girls Impact the festival.” world, which is organized by the Connect Her Foundation in its eighth edition in Texas, USA, and which encourages girls from all over the world to make change in many fields through films.”

The Earth was not sufficient to satisfy her ambition, so Uranus was the refuge for that. Al-Mutrabi’i says: “Uranus is a philosophical documentary that presents the relationship between physics and the world of planets and space in the sky and sea, and deals with the privacy of women and youth in dreams, hope, and ambition.”

While a myth says that once great people die they turn into a shining star in the sky... the dreams of youth in Gaza die and are sent to a cold, blue planet far away.

But Mirna Abu Musabeh, around whom the film revolves, and many others who continue to revive their dreams every night, from the roof or the seashore, bring “Uranus” to the city without a visa, or a special visa to travel to space.

From space to global, Uranus won the “Honorable Mention” award at the CINENOVA University of Portugal Film Festival Competition, Third Edition 2021, in addition to the “Official Selection” award for the 11th year of the DC Palestinian Film and Arts Festival (DCPFAF), and the “Official Selection” award in the film competition. The short of the 37th Alexandria Mediterranean Film Festival, “Official Selection” of the 8th edition of Olhares do Mediterrâneo – Women’s Film Festival, was nominated for the Travessias Special Section and Olhar Competition Films.”

Aya's ambition did not limit the limits of these awards. Just as the planet Uranus has 27 moons, she seeks for the film Uranus to win 27 international awards in various forums.
