Information

He has hundreds of articles in Arab newspapers and magazines, including the Palestinian Affairs magazine, which is issued by the Palestinian Research Center, the Beirut newspaper Al-Safir, and “The Seventh Day” magazine, which was published in Arabic in Paris in the mid-eighties, in addition to managing the Issues and Trends pages in the Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper until the mid-nineties. He had a weekly article, specifically every Monday, on the Middle East Issues page, but he stopped writing in 2015 due to an illness he suffered from. He also served as deputy editor-in-chief of Al-Hayat newspaper for a very short period. He participated in many Arab and international seminars on the Palestinian issue, and has many appearances on Arab satellite channels as a political analyst specializing in the Palestinian issue.

Among his published works are: (The Palestinians in Kuwait, a statistical research, Beirut Research Center, Palestine Liberation Organization, 1974), (Hollow Peace: Dar Al-Ahaly, Damascus, 1994), (Israeli Deception, a Palestinian View of the Camp David Negotiations and Its Aftermaths in the Year of the Arab Foundation for Studies and Publishing, Beirut 2003) (The Culture of Surrender, published by Riad Al-Rayes Books and Publishing House in Beirut in 2005), (Readings in the Palestinian Scene: and the Right of Return, published by the Arab Foundation for Studies and Publishing in Beirut in 2008). Bilal Al-Hassan (Abu Firas) has lived in France for several years. What is established is that many Palestinian media figures emerged during the course of the Palestinian national struggle. The pen was often sharper than the sword in debunking the Zionist narrative about the occupation of Palestine.
