Palestinian student Nariman Abu Obaid (21 years old) from the Gaza Strip combines her love of embroidery and programming in order to create her distinctive wooden products.
Nariman, who studies computer engineering, excelled in creating a new type of art, as she combined her engineering skills with embroidery to create distinctive embroidered wooden lanterns for the month of Ramadan.
On various social media platforms, Nariman publishes her work, with about 6,900 followers following her on her Instagram page. These products include, in addition to Ramadan lanterns, embroidered paintings and dresses.
The Palestinian student dreams of having her own gallery to display her own drawings and paintings. She also wants to communicate the Palestinian heritage to the outside world.
