The Palestinian youth, Rashid Zaarour, achieved first place in the Concerto Competition for solo playing, by playing the viola in a tour with the Palestine Youth Orchestra in the countries of northern Europe, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands.
Rashid is studying optometry at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at An-Najah National University.
It is noteworthy that Rashid has participated with several international groups, such as the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra.
