Muhammad Saba'na (born in Kuwait in 1979) is a Palestinian cartoonist who is famous for his drawings against the Israeli occupation, which tells the suffering of Palestinian prisoners in the occupation prisons.
His trial
On April 4, 2013, the Occupation Court sentenced Muhammad Saba'na to 5 months in prison, in addition to a fine of 10,000 Israeli shekels , on charges of contacting hostile parties. The Israeli occupation had arrested Sabana on February 16 , 2013 , upon his return from Jordan after a week of working on a project with the Arab American League.
Career
Sabaneh is a member of the global network of cartoonists , Cartoon Movement [4], and has participated in more than one media project, including the 360-degree project . He is known for his cartoons with critical political contents against various Palestinian political currents and parties, and his cartoons are usually published in Al-Hayat Al-Jadidah Al-Palestinian.
The Palestinian prisoners were among the main topics dealt with by the artist Sabaneh in his cartoons.
