The Sheikh Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi Award for Creativity, in its second session 2019-2020, announced the long list of branches of critical studies, short story and Emirati novel.

The long list for the Critical Studies category included 10 qualified works, including a Palestinian study by researcher Ahmed Rasem Jamil, entitled "The Political Discourse System: Research on Palestinian Political Discourse Strategies at the United Nations."
