The Palestinian Imtiaz Abu Awwad qualified for the final qualifiers in the World Cup for Arab Creators, which is being held in Britain in London, through her participation in the field of fashion design for the Palestinian heritage, after obtaining a high percentage of votes.
Imtiaz is waiting for her exact rank to be determined on Friday, December 11, 2020, which will be within the competence of the International Arbitration Committee of the World Cup for Arab Creators.
Imtiaz told Al-Awda Network that one of the main goals that prompted her to participate in the competition was "to highlight the heritage of Palestine in all international forums, as well as to market the products of Palestinian women in order to preserve the continuity of work and protect it from Judaization and loss."
It is noteworthy that Imtiaz holds a diploma in Applied Arts, specializing in fashion, from the College of Educational Sciences and the Women's Society in Ramallah. She also participated in several international competitions and exhibitions in Palestine, Morocco, Egypt and Turkey, the last of which was a fashion show in the Belgian capital, Brussels, and she won several awards, including the Creativity Shield. Excellence is one of the pioneers of Iraqi art in Istanbul.
