Peace, love, tenderness, and safety, a message carried by the Palestinian young man "Ismail Lamhamed" in his movie "TABELA" or "A Sign". A reference to people with special needs who carry peace within them despite the loneliness that surrounds them. They sit on their seats motionless, trying to move on the path of life that is fraught with obstacles. They often feel lonely, and feelings of alienation from their society often overwhelm them. They feel as if strong winds are constantly blowing to steal the peace between them and those around them. So the signal was to restore that peace and straighten its direction so that their hearts would warm and it would spread in their limbs, so that life might come into them.
That peace, which is the salvation of the worries and difficulties in our lives, qualified the young Ismail's film "TABELA" to win second place in the short film competition organized by the International Federation of Student Organizations (UDEF) in Turkey, so that Ismail launches his first participation in the short film competitions with this victory.
Ismail, an ambitious young man who grew up as a refugee in Lebanon and is currently studying film and television at Nisantasi University in Istanbul, has been active in many fields in Turkey. He loved diving into the depths of nature and the arts of exploring it as well as volunteering, as he volunteered in the media teams of many Turkish associations, organizations and schools.
“We are at peace together.” A message that carries safety if fear persists and life's obstacles become greater.
