The Palestinian young man residing in Sweden, Amer Sarsour, is preparing to represent the Kingdom of Sweden in the Youth Poetry Competition Festival in Cyprus, which will be held on the 27th and 28th of March.

Several European countries, including Finland, Switzerland, Germany, Spain and Australia, in addition to Sweden, will participate in the festival, which will be held in Nicosia.

Amer was contacted by Ideogramma, the festival's organizer, to invite him to represent Sweden in the competition, where he will compete against six young poets from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain and Sweden.

Amer, a refugee from Yarmouk camp to Sweden, will participate in the contest in Swedish, and all poetic texts will be translated into Greek.
