Muhammad Bushnaq was born in the village of al-Sheikh in the Haifa district in 1934. After the Nakba of 1948, he moved to the West Bank and joined the Kadoorie Institute in Tulkarm, where he obtained a diploma in the field of "educational rehabilitation".
