Laila Ajawi is a graffiti artist, born and raised in the Palestinian refugee camps outside Irbid in Jordan.

Her work focuses on the vision of women living in the Middle East, especially refugees, who face discrimination and limited resources in their places of residence. She created murals with women on the walls in a public art project based in Egypt that aims to empower women through street art.
