Waleed Ibrahim Ahmad Ibrahim Saif (January 19, 1948 in Tulkarm) is a Palestinian writer and author of television dramas, poet, critic and academic. He was born and raised in the Palestinian city of Tulkarm. He is one of the most prominent authors of historical drama. Ayyubid religion.


His upbringing and life
Waleed Ibrahim Ahmed Ibrahim Saif was born in the city of Tulkarm, Palestine, on January 19, 1948. He was born and raised in a house that is only a short distance from the downtown area of Tulkarm; Saif talked about his house on the ninety-seventh page of his book "The Witness", saying it is "the house in which I was born and raised".

He received his primary, preparatory, and secondary education in the schools of his city, Tulkarem, and among these schools was Al Fadhiliya School, Al Omariya School, and others, and he completed high school in his city.

He joined the University of Jordan in October 1966, where he obtained a BA in Arabic Language and Literature, and a PhD in Linguistics from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London in 1975 AD. After this date, he worked as a lecturer in the Department of Arabic Language at the University of Jordan for three years before leaving the department to work as a full-time writer for TV dramas. He has worked in the Syrian TV drama.

Since 1987, he has worked as Director of Educational Production at Al-Quds Open University, whose preparatory programs he helped prepare.

His poetic writings
Walid Seif's poetry draws attention to the seriousness of its poetic subject and the originality of its approach, and many poets acknowledge the influence of his poetry on them. To date, he has published three collections of poetry:
