Mahmoud Lutfi Ahmad Al-Rimawi (born in Beit Rima on October 21, 1948) is a Jordanian/Palestinian storyteller, novelist, and journalist, residing in Amman, Jordan. He received his education in Jericho, Jerusalem, and Beirut, where he studied for two years at Beirut Arab University / Department of Arabic Language, then he dropped out of university studies, shunning it and devoting himself to journalism, which he practiced in Beirut and Kuwait, then in Amman, Jordan, as a writer and political commentator in the Jordanian newspaper Al-Rai for twenty years (1987). /2007). Then he worked as editor-in-chief of the Jordanian Al-Sijil newspaper for two years (2007/2008). In 2010, he published the cultural website “Jab Qawsin”, which is the first website of its kind in Jordan.

Al-Rimawi published 13 collections of short stories, starting in 1972, and then followed them up with several collections of short stories. His novel Man Yones al-Sayyida reached the long list of the International Prize for Arabic Fiction (Booker) in 2010.
