Information
Asaad Abdel Rahman is an Arab writer, researcher, and political analyst specializing in Palestinian issues and the Arab-Israeli conflict.
Born in Jerusalem, he joined the Arab Nationalist Movement and worked as an assistant to Ghassan Kanafani in editing the Palestine supplement for the newspaper Al-Muharrir. Fayez Sayegh appointed him as principal researcher at the Palestinian Research Center. One of the first members of the "Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine", he spent a year in Israeli prisons and was later expelled from Palestine.
He is also the founder and CEO of the Palestine International Foundation (for research and services), which is concerned with building a broad bridge of interaction in two directions: the first connects the communities of Arab origin, and all the friends of the Palestinian people with the Palestinian cause/country/state, and the second connects the latter with the same communities.

Since 2015-2019, Member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Jordan.
He is also a member of the Palestinian National Council, a member of the Palestinian Central Council, and a member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization.
