Soraya Nafeh is a Palestinian-Egyptian writer, born in Cairo in 1955, after her family emigrated from Palestine after the events of 1949. She then lived the rest of her life in Qatar.
Soraya Nafeh had many writings in a number of Qatari newspapers such as Al-Raya newspaper, where she wrote a weekly column in this magazine, and this column was distinguished by its satirical style. Soraya participated as a volunteer member in many civil work organizations such as the International Human Rights Group in New York, the Research and Studies Committee of the Qatar Red Crescent Society, and the Egyptian Philosophical Society. Soraya was also an affiliated member of the Short Story Club in Egypt. In addition, Soraya worked as the General Manager of the American company "Nutri System" from 2000 to 2002. She worked as a public relations director at the American Hospital in Qatar from 2002 to 2004. Soraya held the position of Deputy Secretary General and Media Director of the Arabic Translation Association And the dialogue of cultures in Switzerland.
