Born in Illar, Tulkarem 1944; finished his preparatory education in Jericho; secondary education in Haitham Bin Abd Al-Malik School, studied Geography in Beirut Arab University; received a Diploma in Accounting from the British institutions, worked as a teacher for 12 years in Saudi Arabia and Jordan, he then worked as an accountant. Omar published his poetry in the Arabic magazines and newspapers.
