A Palestinian poet who was born in Ijzim (was a Palestinian village located in Haifa Subdistrict) 1945, following al-Nakba (1948) he left with his family to Iraq; studied in Baghdad; joined the Palestine Liberation Army (1961, 1962), his poetry was published in numerous magazines and newspapers. Alfarhat died in Baghdad on 27. June 1999.
