A Palestinian poet who was born in Attil, Tulkarm 1938; finished his secondary education at Dar Al-Mua'lmen in Amman, Jordan; worked as an Arabic language teacher in Ma'an and Saudi Arabia. In 1976, he moved with his family to San Diego; a founding member of the Arab American Culture Club; he released his first and only Divan (Ya Bahar) in Beirut. Attili died on 23 February 2005 Los Angeles of Diabetes at the age of 67.
