Hisham Hamed Al-Sarsour is a Palestinian photographer from the city of Hebron. He is a professional in the art of photography, specializing in photo stories and portrait photography that address various humanitarian and social issues through visual storytelling that conveys meaningful human values and reflects real-life events in highly refined and professional works.
He was the first representative of Palestine and the Middle East at the international professional photographers’ festival GRID World Photography Festival held in Amsterdam in 2011–2012.
He has received numerous advanced rankings and first-place awards at both Arab and international levels. His most recent recognition was the title of Excellence of Photography. He also achieved second place worldwide in the competition The Spirit of Ramadan Photography Competition, and first place in the Palestine International Festival Award – Earth Category. Additionally, he has received several Arab awards in Baghdad and Sharjah.
