Andrés Sabella: A Chilean poet, writer, journalist, and cartoonist of Palestinian origin. He obtained a law degree from the Catholic University. He joined the magazine Mast and became its editor-in-chief in 1933. He joined the Communist Party and became an active member. He published many articles in newspapers and magazines, issued several poetry novels, and held several exhibitions of cartoons. He received the Regional Literature Prize and the Golden Order Medal from the municipality of Antofagasta. He also received an honorary doctorate from the Catholic University.
