Tarek Al-Ghoussein: A Kuwaiti artist and photographer of Palestinian origin from the city of Gaza. He earned a bachelor’s degree in photography from New York University and completed a Master of Fine Arts from the University of New Mexico. Throughout his career, he held several positions and worked as a photojournalist. He taught photography at the American University of Sharjah and currently serves as a professor at New York University’s Abu Dhabi campus. He is renowned for his work exploring the intersections between landscape photography, self-portraiture, and performance art.
