the biography
A Palestinian theater artist, born in the town of Qalansawe in the Triangle, graduated from the Institute of Theater Arts in 1991. He participated in many theatrical works as an actor, director and editor, and presented works in Arabic and Hebrew, including: the play Mural by the poet Mahmoud Darwish, directed by Nizar Zoghbi and prepared and performed by Khalifa Natour, which achieved success and Palestinian and international acceptance, and the play Rakab, which is a generative dramatic theatrical work that continues to receive Palestinian and international attention.
He participated in several other productions such as War Between Lions and Dogs, The Dreaming Boy, Honey Nights and Terror. Al-Zir Salem and Stories Under Occupation. Khalifa Natour won the first prize for the play “Rakab” at the “Teatronito” Festival (Hebrew one-actor plays festival) in 2006.
He signed a contract with the “Ayoun al-Julani” Theater four months ago to accumulate new experiences that will be a credit and heritage for the group of actors and the management staff of the “Ayoun” Theater after it achieved a successful launch founded by the former director Ihab Salama.
He performed several local and international works as an actor, theater producer and director, and critics agreed that they are among the best plays presented in recent years, such as “Mural”, “Rakab”, “Ulysses Above the Bottles” and others.
