Walid Qamhawi is a Palestinian-Jordanian writer and doctor. He was born in Nablus , Palestine in 1923 AD . He attended the American University in Beirut and graduated as a doctor in 1947 AD . Then he traveled to Cairo to specialize in surgery at the Qasr Al-Aini Faculty of Medicine. [1] He specialized in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Dublin in Ireland and graduated in 1962.
He was elected president of the Jordanian Doctors Syndicate for three terms between 1963 and 1966 AD . He published a major encyclopedia called “The Nakba and Construction” and published his first article in the Palestinian “Al-Ghad” magazine in 1963 AD. He then continued to publish many articles in Arab periodicals.
