Yacoub Khalil Al-Atrash is a Palestinian writer and writer. He was born in the city of Beit Sahour in Palestine in early 1933 , to a father who was a writer and poet and a mother who was a teacher who moved between schools in Palestine and Lebanon. He received his primary and secondary education in Beit Sahour, Ramla, and Hebron schools.
He obtained with distinction the passing certificate for Palestinian higher education in 1951, and a diploma in education from the teachers’ class in Amman in 1952. He worked in the field of education for more than thirty years as a teacher in Bethlehem and Beit Jala secondary schools and then as principal of Beit Sahour Secondary School until his retirement at the beginning of this month. November 1982.
