Ahmed Adnan Al-Ramahi (born
September 9, 1979 in the UAE) is a Jordanian director of Palestinian origin. He
holds a bachelor’s degree in business and hotel management in 2001 and in
journalism and media in 2004. He directed his first film in 2005, entitled The
Night of the Gliders, which talks about an operation carried out by two Arab
heroes representing The two wings of the nation, one of them (Syrian Khaled
Aker) and the other from Tunisia (Miloud Al-Numa), managed to cross the border
with their gliders and land in an (Israeli) camp and cause destruction in it..
The film participated in the Al-Jazeera Documentary Film Festival in 2007.
Al-Ramahi also directed short films On the authority of the late President
Saddam Hussein, which witnessed a great turnout on YouTube. He also directed a
documentary film titled Freedom Anthem, which talks about Palestinian prisoners
and their liberation processes. He directed the movie Al-Hakim George Habash
for Al-Jazeera channel, and in 2009 he directed the movie (Wadi Araba), which
sparked a local controversy, which He also spoke about the Jordanian (Israeli)
peace treaty for Al-Jazeera news channel
He participated in the founding of
the radical Arab nationalist group, to which many nationalists all over the
world belong. He has also been active since 2002 in the Anti-Zionism and Racism
Association in Jordan. He is known for his radical nationalist positions in
thought and action, especially with regard to Iraq and Palestine. He rejects
all forms of compromise with the Zionist enemy. Emphasis on the Arabism of all
the Arab lands, and the call for adhering to the path of resistance and the
establishment of an organized Arab popular movement as an objective necessity
to confront the intractable historical dilemmas facing the Arab nation.
