Marwan Salman Abu Tahoun (March 5,
1979) is a writer, poet, singer, and artist. He was born in the Spanish
capital, Madrid, to a family from the Palestinian city of Tulkarm. He is
considered one of the most prominent singers and songwriters in Spain and Latin
America.

Marwan Salman Abu Tahoun was born on
March 5, 1979 in the Aluchi neighborhood of the Spanish capital, Madrid, to a
family from the Palestinian city of Tulkarm. His father had left Tulkarm for
Spain following the Naksa War in 1967.
Marwan started singing when he was a
student at the Faculty of Sports. In 2007, he presented a musical evening in Jerusalem
as part of the “Jerusalem Musical Seasons Fall 2007” festival. He also
presented several concerts in solidarity with the children of Gaza, organized
by UNRWA.
Marwan has performed in many
countries of the world, including his country Palestine, Mexico, Argentina,
Chile, Uruguay, Peru, Ecuador, the United States of America, Colombia, France,
Greece, Russia, the Dominican Republic, Belgium and Jordan.
