SYNOPSIS
An Associate professor at the Mechatronics Engineering Department of the University of
Jordan, currently on a Sabbatical leave in the Mechanical Engineering Department of
King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia. Holding a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering
(Microelectromechanical Systems, MEMS) from Florida State University, 2002, an
M.Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering (Engineering Design) from Carnegie Mellon
University, 1991, an M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering (Computer Integrated
Manufacturing Systems) from George Washington University, and a B.Sc. degrees with
honor from the University of Jordan. Research interest and contributions are in
mechanical design, mechatronics, microfluidics and MEMS.
