Dr. Jamal Salsa' is a Palestinian Doctor, writer and poet born in Beit Sahour in 1943. He graduated from Bethlehem Secondary School (1962-1963), joined the Faculty of Medicine in Ein Shams University in Cairo where he graduated as a doctor and surgeon in 1969, appointed as the head of Jericho Hospital from 1970-1972, he started to write literary articles in 1957; a founding member of the Palestinian Writers Union 1980; he was arrested in 1989-1990; member of the General Secretariat of the General Union for Palestinian Writers.
