Dr. Ahmad Ayed is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing. With extensive experience in both clinical and academic settings, he specializes in pediatric health nursing, community health, health assessment, and simulation-based education. Dr. Ayed teaches a variety of undergraduate nursing courses, including Fundamentals of Nursing, Pediatric Health Nursing, Human Growth and Development, and Community Health Nursing, often integrating high-fidelity simulation to enhance clinical competence and decision-making. He is bilingual in Arabic and English.

Dr. Ayed’s prolific research spans critical issues in nursing education, pediatric care, infection control, mental health, and evidence-based practice. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, many of which focus on improving nursing students' learning outcomes, stress management, cultural competency, and quality of care in intensive care units.
