Israa Yousef Mohammad Sharif is a lecturer specializing in Healthy and Therapeutic Nutrition at Palestine Polytechnic University. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Jordan (2013–2017), where her thesis examined the relationships between Neuropeptide Y, food intake, quality of life, and the risk of anorexia-cachexia syndrome among cancer patients in Amman. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Al-Quds University (2007–2012), with a graduation project focused on the prevalence of obesity, eating habits, and physical activity among Palestinians in the West Bank. With a strong academic foundation in both nutrition and pharmacy, Israa brings an interdisciplinary approach to her teaching and research in the fields of dietetics and public health.
