Omar Dajani is a Palestinian- American university professor and former member of the Palestine Liberation Organization . He was born in 1970 and served as political advisor to the UN envoy to the Middle East, Terje Larsen, from 2001 to 2003.

Omar Dajani was born in 1970, graduated from Northwestern University in Illinois , USA, and then obtained a doctorate from Yale Law School .
His career
In 1999, Omar Dajani joined the Negotiations Support Unit of the Palestine Liberation Organization as a legal advisor to the Palestinian negotiating team. In 2001, he left this position to become political advisor to the UN Special Envoy to the Middle East, Terje Rød-Larsen, a position he held until 2003. Omar Dajani is currently a professor of law at McGeorge Law School, University of the Pacific, in Sacramento, California .
