Dr.. Khalil M. Dhabayna is a professor of nuclear and radiation physics at the College of Science and Technology at Hebron University in Palestine. Dr. Khalil is considered a specialist in the field of nuclear physics and radiation physics, and has extensive experience in this field.
His areas of interest include environmental studies of radioactivity and nuclear radiation physics, and he conducts research and studies related to these topics. In addition, he works on low-level radiation measurements, studies ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and their environmental effects, and evaluates radiation doses.
For higher education, he teaches courses in physics and general science at the undergraduate level, and supervises graduate students.
He has made significant contributions to the field, as he participated in writing and publishing many scientific research and publications and attended many international and local conferences and workshops. Dr. Khalil is also studying the exploitation of renewable energy to generate electricity from solar and wind energy, and seeks to use renewable energy to protect the environment.
His education history includes obtaining a doctorate in nuclear and radiation physics from the Faculty of Science at Ain Shams University in Egypt in 2003, and he conducted environmental studies of radioactivity in the Hebron area in Palestine. He obtained a master's degree in polymer physics from the Faculty of Science at the University of Jordan in 1991, and a bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Jordan in 1988.
In addition to his academic role, Dr. Khalil also held important administrative positions, including the Deanship of Student Affairs at Hebron University, and was Dean of the University’s College of Science and Technology.
