A Palestinian researcher discussed her master’s thesis at the Arab American University, about the detention of Palestinian children.

The letter by researcher Hala Shalbaya, a student majoring in conflict resolution and development, was entitled “The Arrest of Palestinian Children, Israeli Double Law, Discrimination According to Nationality, and Violation of Children’s Rights in East Jerusalem as a Case Study.”

In her letter, the researcher addressed children who are “criminals” according to the Israeli narrative, and “victims” according to other accounts.
