Jerusalemite researcher Nour Muhammad Abu Asab obtained a Ph.D. in "Jerusalem Studies" from the University of Aberdeen, one of the most prestigious British universities.

Nour became one of the first contemporary female researchers to obtain a Ph.D., noting that the holders of the same degree and specialization from British universities were men until her graduation date in 2013.


It is noteworthy that Nour has been teaching recitation, history, and English subjects in the Islamic Endowments schools in occupied Jerusalem since 2001 until today. She has also contributed and is contributing to many researches and courses on the sciences of Jerusalem inside and outside Palestine.
