Born in Jerusalem 1903, educated at Al-Sulatniyya school in Jerusaelm; graduated in 1917. After graduating he worked in teaching, he then studied Law at the Law Institute of Jerusalem in 1931; worked as a lawyer in Gaza, opened his own law-office there, worked in journalism for a long time, editor of Al-Huquq magazine, head editor of Sawt al-Haq newspaper. Member of the Independence Party in Gaza.
