Born in Beit Rima, North of Ramallah. Obtained his BA in Physics from the University of Jordan 1985, MA in Nuclear physics from the University of Jordan 1988, PhD in Astrophysics from Utah State University in the United Sates 1994, worked for a short period in The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Professor of Theoretical space plasma physics at Al-Quds University; won second place in Palestine International Award for Excellence and Innovation or Space Physics in his model (model Barghouthi).
