Born in Tulakrem 1948, received his BA in Political Science from the American University of Cairo 1972; MA in Political Science from Kansas State University in 1974; another MA in Economics from University of Missouri 1977; earned a PhD in Political Science from the same university 1977, worked as a lecturer at the University of Jordan 1978-1979; at An-Najah National University from 1980 until now; part timer at Bierzit University, an activist in the social and political realms, writer of hundreds of articles published in local, Arab and international magazines and newspapers. A prominent Arab fighter for freedom, imprisoned four times by the Israelis for a couple of years.
