Khalil Jahshan: An American academic of Palestinian origin from the city of Nazareth, he received a bachelor's degree in political science and French from Harding University in 1972, a lecturer in international studies and languages at Pepperdine University, president of the National Association of Arab Americans, Arabic language teacher at the University of Chicago and Northwestern University in Evanston, vice president of the American Committee on Jerusalem, and deputy executive director of the American Anti-Discrimination Committee.
