Acid Abdel Fattah is an academic specialized in mining engineering, serving as an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He obtained his PhD from Moscow Technological University (Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys) from 1984 to 1990, where his thesis focused on calculating the technological parameters of rapid hardening based on the research of the physical properties of Ni43Mn50Fe7 metals. He also earned a Master's degree from the same institution, specializing in the chemical physics of mining operations, with a similar thesis. Acid worked at Birzeit University from February 7, 1999, to April 28, 2016, before moving to An-Najah National University, where he continued as an assistant professor from January 1, 2012, to April 28, 2016.
