Professor Dr. Muhammad Raja Al-Darini was born in the town of Abbasiya near the city of Jaffa in 1930 AD. He obtained a doctorate in English literature from Ain Shams University - Cairo, in 1977 AD. He had obtained a master's degree in English literature from the University of Kentucky in the United States of America in 1960. He has been teaching since 1950, teaching English literature (the novel) in many American and Arab universities
