Professor of Law at Birzeit University, Dr. Hassan Jaber Al-Baba, won first place in the Sheikh Ahmed Yassin International Competition for Human Rights and Freedoms.

His victory came for a scientific research that was classified as the best internationally and in the Arab world among the research participating in the competition, according to what was announced during the closing ceremony, which was organized at the Gloria Hotel on the shore of the Gaza Sea.

It is noteworthy that the College of Law won first place in the International Humanitarian Law Competition organized by the International Red Cross for the year 2015.
