Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs
Dr. Hussein Jadallah is a professor of control systems in the Department of Electronic Engineering.
He began working at Al-Quds University in 1992 as a lecturer in electronic engineering. He held the position of Head of the Electronic Engineering Department from 2002 to 2005 and served as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering from 2005 to 2009. He also held the position of Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs from 2009 to 2012. Since 2012, he has been serving as the Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs.
Dr. Jadallah earned his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Birzeit University with distinction. He obtained his Master's degree in Digital Systems from the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom with distinction. He earned his Ph.D. in Information Systems (Control Systems) from the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology with distinction.
In 2005, Dr. Jadallah was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor, and in 2014, he was promoted to the rank of Professor.
In addition to his regular duties as the Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Jadallah oversees the work of various departments, including Finance, Human Resources, General Services, Information Technology, and the Engineering Office. He is responsible for implementing the financial stability plan for Al-Quds University.
Dr. Jadallah has contributed to the evaluation of electrical engineering programs at Palestinian universities and has assessed many programs submitted to the National Authority for Accreditation and Quality. He has been actively involved in academic activities, including reviewing numerous research papers for publication in specialized international journals and participating as a member of the International Program Committee for several international conferences."
