Information
The conditions
of the occupied Negev, which the occupation deprives of water, electricity and
basic services, did not prevent Sarah Abu Kaf, a Palestinian professor of
psychology across cultures and civilizations, from obtaining a professorship
(associate professor's degree).
The
forty-year-old Sarah, who works as the director of the Department of
Interdisciplinary Studies at Beersheba University, had prepared research in the
field of cross-cultural psychological studies, in which she dealt with social
and psychological phenomena that accompany the Palestinian Arab society,
especially in the occupied Negev.
In 2012, Sarah
completed her post-doctoral studies at Harvard University in 2012 and submitted
her doctoral dissertation entitled “Depression Vulnerability Among Bedouin
Undergraduate Students Compared to Jewish Students.”
