Eyad Hourani: A Ukrainian physician of Palestinian origin from the town of Baqa al-Sharqiya in the Tulkarm district. He is a consultant in oncological surgery, holding a Bachelor of Medicine with Honors from Vinnytsia National Medical University. He was appointed Associate Professor in the Department of Oncology at the same university and later became Chief Consultant of Oncological Surgery, qualifying him to serve as the General Academic Supervisor and overseer of the Oncology Department.
Dr. Hourani has conducted extensive academic work, scientific research, and specialized surgeries, leading to his appointment as Chair of the Supreme Scientific Committee in Oncology and Surgical Oncology, Head of the National Program for Cancer Prevention, and Chair of the Regional Breast Surgery Committee.
He is a member of the administrative board and Chair of the Scientific Committee in the Union of Arab Physicians in Ukraine, a member of the Ukrainian Association of Oncological Surgeons, the Russian Association of Breast Surgeons, and the PODILLYA Surgical Oncology Association.
He has published 151 scientific papers, including 89 in peer-reviewed and prestigious journals, and has participated in numerous medical conferences and forums in Ukraine and internationally. He holds four patents and intellectual property rights and is the author of three medical books currently taught in medical universities.
